“Szóceán” or “An Ocean of Words” was a one-hour audiovisual journey through the last hundred years of Icelandic poetry based on the Hungarian translations of my partner Mátyás Dunajcsik, featuring poems by classic and contemporary Icelandic authors like Grímur Thomsen, Steinn Steinarr, Sjón, Ragnar Helgi Ólafsson and Kári Tulinius. The readings were accompanied by the improvisations of an electronic musician and a cellist, against a backdrop of my music-reagent live animations. The show was premiered in December 2016 in Budapest with the support of the Scandinavian House Foundation Hungary and then repeated in cadre of the Margó Literary Festival in the Petőfi Museum of Literature in June 2017.
