Dóra Varga – 2048 / 2016
The essence of Dora Varga’s new installation is a music mapping, which is converted into form. Next to the glass object there are linear touch-sensitive potmeters on both sides – if we touch these, or pull our fingers on them, we control the sounds, and the light follows it as well. The glass rods of longer and shorter length show the spatial depiction of the sound. The rows determine the type of the sound, while the height of the rods define the pitch of the sound.
